I don’t have an incredible story, but I’d like to assure you I did not start out as little miss sunshine. I grew up as a farm kid, not religious, not spiritual. I went to university, graduated with a 4yr BA in Disaster and Emergency Studies. I wanted to travel the world and help in disasters or work with people that have fled. I had the highest hopes of trying to provide access to services for people. Be a catalyst in their time of need. I met the most incredible people, with the most incredible stories, yet I was miserable...
I couldn’t get out of bed some days. I felt so frustrated at the barriers. I had to budget every dollar I earned. I longed for Friday, yet when the weekend came all I could do was sleep. I felt my fire get dimmer with each day.I made excuses because things weren’t really “that bad.” I tried to be grateful.Then one day, the universe conspired to drop me my “cues” that it could be better. I could be happy. Life didn’t have to be this way. Honestly, we all get these cues but we are so scared of our greatness. It’s hard to take the risk. I’m so glad I did. It’s been 4 months since I quit my day job and I have seen my karma thank me Every. Single. Day. It’s amazing when you step into your fullness. You get paid out almost immediately.
