Your Rising Sign & Destiny

Earth is a school. A school where souls choose to incarnate to learn and gain experience. Before we arrive on Earth, we map out what kinds of lessons we want to learn. Of course, once we arrive here, we cannot remember exactly what we had planned, and we are given free will. In this, we sometimes learn our lessons the easy way, and other times the hard way. It may take us more than one incarnation to arrive at the ending we are hoping for. Good thing we are eternal and have nothing but time to work things out. We are here of our own volition, after all.
I believe, and witness on a regular basis, that our birth chart is a blueprint for these soul-level plans. It contains information on who we were in past lives, what we succeeded at, what was left undone, and it also gives us a glimpse into who we are destined to become and why.
In pop culture, birth charts are often used to assign personality traits. While this can be true, we are so much more than this. It is unlikely that in every life we are one thing or another. And who are we when we aren’t incarnating under certain constellations?
I prefer to see the sky as the matrix for how Earth School actually works. Each planet and constellation is a great lesson plan for our soul development on Earth. And we cannot graduate until we master all the lessons.
Some we are naturally good at. Some need real work, depending on our soul, karma, and life experiences.
One of the most important placements in the entire chart, which indicates which lesson your soul is working on in this lifetime, is your Rising Sign. The constellation that was peering over the horizon the moment you took your first breath. The moment you brought Spirit to Matter. How sacred.
Another miss in pop culture is the description of the Rising Sign. We often hear that it is how people perceive us, or where we feel most comfortable. Perhaps this is true, but what is it really? Who we are destined to become. This is based upon our past lives, our inner dreams, and our soul-level aspirations.
The Rising Sign Workshop
